Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Saul Alvarez – 9/13/2013 – $150 Million
Floyd Mayweather won this fight in a 12 round majority decision in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Many felt the scorecards were too close and Mayweather should have won this fight with a larger margin.  One of the judges retired after this fight.

Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. – 5/5/2007 – $136 Million
Mayweather won the fight by split decision.  The two battled out 12 rounds in the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Tickets were sold out in 3 hours after they went on sale.

Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson – 6/8/2002 – $112 Million
This fight was held at the Pyramid Arena in Memphis, Tennessee between both heavyweights.  Lewis was able to defeat Tyson with a KO in the 8th round.

Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield – 6/28/1997 – $100.2 Million
This fight was titled “The Sound and the Fury”, but also referred to “The Bite Fight”.  The fight took place in the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In this fight Tyson was disqualified for biting Holyfield’s ear.

This fight was billed as Ring Kings.  Held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, this fight proved to be controversial with lots of social media spats.  Mayweather won the fight by a unanimous decision.

Evander Holyfield vs. George Foreman – 4/19/1991 – $80 Million
The battle of the ages was a boxing match between these two heavyweight contenders.  Holyfield won the fight with a unanimous decision, but many folks were impressed with Foreman’s performance because he was 42.

Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield – 11/9/1996 – $77.9 Million
Mike Tyson lost to Holyfield in a KO in the 11th round of a full 12 rounds.  The crowd produced over $14 million and was named The Ring Magazine Fight of the Year.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley – 5/7/2011 – $75 Million
This fight was held in Las Vegas of the MGM Grand.  Pacquiao defeated Mosley in an unanimous decision.  Rapper LL Cool J performed as Mosley entered the arena.  Jimi Jamison of Survivor performed for Pacquiao.

Felix Trinidad vs. Oscar De La Hoya – 9/18/1999 – $64 Million
Billed as the Fight of the Millennium, this fight was held in Las Vegas.  Trinidad was made the winner of a fight that had many people questioning the scorecards and whether or not Trinidad really did win.
