20. TENG CHIEH
In China, the Lantern Festival is one of the festivals. Dragon shaped lanterns are hung around the houses and streets to scare off spirits and make them go to their earthly home.

In 2010, the National Retail Federation predicted consumers to spend approximately $5.8 billion dollars. Each year, people spend more money on Halloween with an average of $66.28 per person.
18. GHOULS AND SPOOKS
From the ancient Celtic tradition townspeople would dress up as ghouls and other scary spooks disguising themselves as demons or spirits. They believed this would allow them to escape from the real spirits in Samhain.
