20. Disneyland Closures
Disneyland is well known for being open year round, but there have been three closures. The first was the National Day of Mourning following President Kennedy’s death. The second was after the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. The last was September 11th, 2001.
Traveling to Disneyland can mean lots of crowds of people and lots of waiting in line. There is one month out of the year that can be much more enjoyable. According to Disneyland, January is the best month to go if you are seeking less crowds. Airfare and lodging will also be cheaper too.
18. Feral Cats
Disneyland used to have a horrible problem with mice and rats on the property. Up to 200 feral cats live at Disneyland, because they help control the problem with the mice and rats. It’s a great place for these cats to live and they don’t disrupt anything.
